Man, this is gonna sound so stupid of me, but this hit me really strange. I guess because I never really followed up on him, but it was still very surprising. I always liked watching him but I wouldn't exactly say I was a big "fan" but it still hit me. At first I thought it was a joke but then I saw it on T.V.
I'm really sad because he has a wonderful family that he left behind but he died doing what he loved. Loved is probably an understatement. That guy had a passion. We think of him as an odd kinda strange person who yelled all the time but he really was a nice guy. The way he died is really strange. A complete freak accident. Sting Ray wounds are very rarely deadly. It just happened to pierce his heart. I just hope his family's alright and that he didn't suffer. |

It's what happens when a pop icon dies. Even though you may not be an avid fan (I wasn't either), you are just used to their presence in the media. So it will be strange not seeing him around (after the hub bub and much media capitalism of his death fizzles out). |
