Ok, so I'm finally done with my very first div layout. It's taken me a couple months to do because I wanted everything to be perfect across FF and IE on most resolutions because I'm a crazy perfectionist and I think I'm finally at that point.
It's not much, graphically (cause I'm not too good w/ Photoshop/brushes), but the functionality is all gold. I tried to get it to look as close to my desktop as possible, but still work as a myspace. I did everything except the Flash MP3 player... my friend did that for me to use with my page cause I dont know Flash yet.. That doesn't count as jocking right? And yes, I know my blog overlay looks like crap (I just started it yesterday), but I got all the coding done for my alternate "My Pictures" page.. Now it's time to make it look pretty... @Holly: I was trying to make them look like desktop icons, but I guess that didn't work, so I just now made the icons smaller, and added shortcut arrows at the bottom corner of each pic. Maybe now it'll be a 10/10 without the novelty of the mySpace Invaders :U
Glad y'all like the navigation bar... that was the last thing I added because I couldnt figure out how to code it to behave like Windows in IE AND FF. I like my AIM/Comment Box the best tho, I'm really pleased with how that turned out Thanks for the feedback guys! |
