Probably John Myung from Dream Theater. Anyoen who plays "Flight of the Bumblebee" with slap-bass is okay in my book.
Gotta give to Jaco Pastorius, too, although I never listened to Weather Report much. But Jaco did a lot of innovative things with the bass. |
