Problem: None with IE, but in firefox obviously the positioning of the comment box is off almost as though there is a padding to the comment box.

Did you try just doing:

Overall its not a real problem at all, the main point is people can see the bottom. To tell you the truth I don't think there is a fix. Its not a big thing...
