LAST XANGAN STANDING, Round One Options

Alright, so this is how it's going to work. Similar to CBNTM and Last Icon Maker Standing, LxS will be split into rounds. After each round, one designer will be eliminated. The last xanga designer standing, will recieve a pretty sweet prize: a sub-domain and a spot as Createblog's Featured Designer.

The Rules are as Follows:

1) No copyright images (see example for clarification).
2) It cannot be a layout made in the past or submitted anywhere else
3) Must be appropriate content and fit the theme
4) After each round, remaining layouts must be submitted to cB
5) Submissions cannot be just an image, they have to be coded as well

The theme for the first round will be Nature. This is a pretty general theme, it can be anything involving nature. We'd like to see what you can do with it. Send your submissions to ALL of the following:

For an example, click here. The terms of use on each of the websites creditted for photos and patterns say that layout use is okay. Credit is then placed on the layout where used. Also, this layout fits the theme. Still confused about copyrights? Click HERE and read.

Deadline:

Participants must sign up by Wednesday (7th) or possibly earlier, due to the amount of participants. Signups are closed!

Okay, let me clarify this copyright situation.
You have to check where you got the picture. Some people say, "You can use my picture, but you better put credits!" So you better have credits. Some places have Terms of Use, and like deviantArt.com, people aren't allowed to use those images without the express written consent of the artist. So I suggest not using those. Just make sure you don't use images that are copyrighted.

You can use images from places like celestial-star, but read the paragraph below.

I also warn against this: Using an image that has already been altered by a graphics designer or artist - that means you didn't have to really do anything. The judges will take that into account. The layout might be gorgeous, but you didn't really add much to the design, therefore... the design really isn't yours. Try to find the most basic picture possible, and then design/alter it from there.

Div, Frames, or Tables
Any layout goes! But I suggest divs (hint) - they might do better than the others... *hint, hint*
Okay, I'll be straight, I recommend div layouts.
