Hey what's up guys, well basically I have Windows XP with a Pentium 4 2.5GHz CPU and 992 MB of RAM
The problem I'm currently having is that when I drag images within Photoshop, the CPU usage shoots up, and there's been a few times that my PC just freezes. Right now Photoshop is installed onto my Primary drive, the C: But I have a 200HD, and I only used up 6GBs as of now. What exactly is causing my PC to freeze? Oh and by the way, I just re-installed my Windows XP so basically it's running as fast as possible since I don't have useless crap on my hard drives anymore. The one and only thing I can think of... is the paging file. The total paging file size for all drives is 1488MB. Is there any tweaking of any sort that I can do? I'm seriously not lookin forward to doing any upgrades to my PC... I just recently replaced both my RAM sticks with two 512s. What do you think I should do? |

Well, uhhh...
I know there are two different kinds of memory. One is storage memory, and then the other is kind of like..processing memory. How fast the computer can do something. You may want to do research on that but...that may be it. ( I am not a computer genius..and I dont really know much about that..but..try checking that out?) |
