I searched to see if there was a topic on this but I didn't find much...if I'm wrong, just close this.
Anyway, Global Warming--serious problem. I didn't realize just how bad it was until I saw this public service announcement for it a few minutes ago. 2005 was the hottest year in recorded history. Every day, we release 75 million TONS of Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere. In 2000, it rained in Antarctica. In just one decade, there will be no glaciers in Glacier National Park. Polar bears are drowning. There is more Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere now than in the last 650,000 years. In 2004, the South Pacific received their first hurricane in recorded history. This is crazy. There must be something we can do, right? |

there's nothing we can do about it.
NO one works together as team to stop it. actually, no one cares. we deal with "chemical reactions" everything which include bus, cooking, driving, burning, and etc. no matter what, no one cares. we should be moving to mar ;]

Hey, you know one good thing? They say the ozone hole will repair itself by 2040! You know why? We have been reducing the amount of CFCs since 1986. If we can get everyone together and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, then we can stop global warming. |

He's pretty much one of the only politicians with the balls to stand up and fight for the environment..He even made this documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, about global warming (I think it was a book first). It was one of the best documentaries that I've ever seen. And he's been touring all over the world trying to get countries to be more environmentally friendly. |
