Hey, does anybody know a good open source music ripper? I have lots of opensource/free music players, (VLC, Gom Player, Etc). But I need a good music ripper. Preferably something that would rip music in many different formats. (OGG, WMA, Mp3). Also, a good open source music converter would help too. Aparantly everything needs an mp3 license...

QUOTE In general, open source refers to any program whose source code is made available for use or modification as users or other developers see fit. (Historically, the makers of proprietary software have generally not made source code available.) Open source software is usually developed as a public collaboration and made freely available. SongBird can import CD audio tracks into itself using the Open File command. I'm not sure if thats really what you want, but point being its open source and maybe something you'd want to look into. |
