QUOTE As far as Christina Aguilera goes, she is immensely talented. Her belt voice has always been impressive. I think age and her abuse of her vocal cords is getting to her as either she is developing nodes, or her throat is just sore. Either way, her voice was a bit raspy. Also, someone PLEASE tell her to stop moving her hands so damn much. It would have been quite lovely performance had she not had me wincing every 5 seconds from getting dizzy watching her hands. Other than that, lovely. She looked beautiful as well. ^ I agree with you that Christina has probably damaged her vocal chords or something. I think she's over-working them a bit right, which is understandable considering how much promo performances she's been doing lately for her new album. My best friend and I were on the phone together last night during the awards, and we both agreed that something happened to Christina's voice towards the end of her performance. And, yeah, she looked gorgeous, as usual. ![]() |
