I think Jonathan Hodgman (the dude who plays the PC in those Mac commercials) put it best.

If we make Pluto a planet, then we need to classify those other objects as planets. And you wouldn't want to have to memorize "My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizza Cars 2003 UB313 (Xena) AKA (Also Known As) Lesbian. |
