My dad won't let me have a b/f until I finish college. That's just SAD. T___T

Well I don't think there's a certain age you should start dating. Don't get me wrong, I don't think young people should be having sex.
When I was younger dating meant a different than it does now. When I was younger a lot of people just wanted a boyfriend or girlfriend just for the fact of having them... nothing special. I don't think there's anything wrong with a 13 yr. old dating, but parents automatically think that "dating" means the same to 30 yr old as it does for a 13 yr old. If you want to date someone, though, I don't think you should keep it from your parents. If it's not a serious thing and you know they're going to flip if you tell them, then dont. |
