since i'm going away for 3 weeks at a camp, i didn't want to be constantly shaving so i decided to buy nair.
my skin is really sensitive to a lot of stuff (even dove soap!) so i might react to using this. i tried to buy the non-allergenic kind but it didn't come with the bladeless shaver. has anyone used nair? if so, does it work really well? how long until you have to use it again? did you react? how long should i grow my hair out until it'll be effective enough to use? |

I can't stand Nair. For one, it smells awful. Two, it leaves my skin irritated and red.
Haha funny story though...my friend used Nair on her eyebrows (the area above and below them), and it didn't work - it just left her face red and she said it looked like she burned her eyebrows. It wasn't until after that she saw the big "DO NOT USE ON FACE" warning on the bottle ![]() |
