Do you belive in it...I do now...after seeing one guy for 4 hours and hanging out with him at a football game wanted me to throw away my boyfriend ive been dating for 9 months...our realationship is in a mess now....

I don't believe in it. However, I believe that feelings can start the first time you talk to someone, but not full on love. When I first started talking to my boyfriend, there was an instant attraction and connection, but it was certainly not love.
I don't think it's just teenagers who have a problem distinguishing between love and infatuation . I mean, look at the divorce rates. I think too many people are jumping the gun and believing that they are in love, when it is simply infatuation that dies out quickly. I guess, distinguishing between love and infatuation takes maturity, and half the people in the world aren't mature at all. I would recommend getting to know this other boy more and reevaluating your current relationship. I wouldn't destroy a good relationship based on one incident. However, I do know the feeling of being completely intrigued by someone the first time you talk, but with my boyfriend I talked to him more to make sure he wasn't being completely fake. He wasn't  .
