if you stop dating, is he/she ur ex bf/gf? if you ARE dating is he/she ur gf/bf? i broke up with that guy. or rather he broke up with me because according to him, he feels that his best female friend J is a BIG part of his life. also i think i agreed to the breakup because i didnt feel like i was getting anywhere with him. too big of differences. hes a senior, im a sophomore. hes those Ds and Fs ppl, and im those As Bs and occasional Cs ppl. hes hispanic, im japanese. he has loud outgoing friends, i have many assorted friends... and his friend (my former classmate) hates me for a reason i do not know. and he "moves" faster, and i'm too shy to even hold hands... :'[ but oh well. im over him already. i wasnt too attached to him. but enyway, i just wanted to understand what went wrong and some other things...

Well to begin with, dating is only about goin out on dates, making dates to hang out. Thus meaning, he or you asked to go out with the fact that you're both interested in each other.

Now normally after dating for a few weeks or a few months, either you or him will ask the other to be their companion or in other words b/f & g/f status.

Also if they're not making their education priority, then they're not really all that worthy, especially if you're a good student and they're not. As a person they might be great, but if you're lookin into a long term relationship, you gotta think, what are they gonna do in the future?

And as far as race goes, don't let that get in the way. Like the person for who they are, don't make their skin color, culture, religion, or race in general become the major element of choosing a guy who's worthy.
