about anonymous shoutouts

i dont know about you guys, but most of the time, it seems like they're just CONVERSATIONS taking place. i mean, if you do something like n____i, and the person replies back, it wouldnt really be "anonymous" anymore right

There is a tongue in cheek aspect to the Anonymous Shoutouts. A majority of the time you can tell who is being referred to, especially if you know who talks to who for the most part. So even though it's "Anonymous", you can't help but seem blatent (even if not intended) in who you are talking to.

Having said that, the conversations are annoying. I mean seriously, with AIM, SKYPE, IRC, PMing ,etc available, is it totally necessary to carry on in Anonymous Shoutouts?

That doesnt work at all. No matter how annoying it is. There's nothing anyone can do about it. Not even a moderator can prevent that from happening.
