If you have the CD key, and still have the disk, contact the company that made the game, supply them with the serial number of the disk, and they should send you a fresh copy. (That's what EA does)
Or, if you have the CD key, just search for a HTTP download or Torrent of the download, and use your legal CD key. In that case, it makes it 100% legal for you to do it. Also, a good idea is to make a copy of each game you have and throw it in a corner somewhere just for a backup. I do that just to the expensive games. |
