If you've been with someone for a few years and still love each other a lot but something has come up like school so one feels that it must leave the relationship behind so the person can focus better more on school. so now we have no choice but to just try to leave this behind us. its like you still feel the same but you have to give it up because you have no choice? i mean its like we've been through so much already why give up on "us" now ya know? cant think ah...what do you guys say?

this has happened to me a couple of times. school was just too overwhelming for the both of us at times. but neither of us wanted to break up so we didn't let that become an option no matter had busy and stressed we were.
what we did was just talk on the phone after school/after homework. we helped each other with our homework, and saw each other on weekends, or some days after school if lucky. we were able to focus still, but maybe it's different for other people? try mentioning that. if that doesn't work, just know that the end of the relationship isn't because she doesn't like you anymore, it's because of other things have came up. meaning, it doesn't mean you can't get back together when times are appropriate ![]() |
