so yesterday i went to this place called curl up n dye to get my hair done.
originally i went in wanting light brown highlights. somehow by the end i was talked into getting like cherry red almost magenta reallly bright highlights going through my hair.. they had to lift the color off my hair first, which left the highlights like dark blondish before they dyed it. i loved it yesterday, my parents almost killed me. i woke up this morning, freaked out and realized what i had done. does anyone know what i could do to fix this?? can i dye it over maybe with a brown or black? i feel bad because it was just a waste of $150. ![]() |

oh dear! what is the color of the base by the way?
well, yes you can definitely dye over it. but this is the bad part, i'd suggest getting it done again, just so you dont damage your hair, maybe just see what they have to say. because if you do it yourself with a box dye, it'll fade faster and you'll see 2 root colors plus the one you're dying. ie. brown, red and black. ![]() but if you do box then make sure you have enough solution to cover it up, and make sure it's permanent. (actually, they're never really permanent, i know mine isn't ![]() |
