it seems like in my family... all the dad's are more easy-going than the moms.
for example: yesterday i went to the hair place with my dad & sister. i've been asking my mom for highlights for the past..uh.. 5 years. and she's always said no. so i decided to ask my dad. my dad wasn't sure what he should do, so he called my mom and my mom said "well... i'm against it, but you decide" (meaning.. in 'mom' language.. "absolutely not"). so my dad goes to me and says "do you promise to clean your room tomorrow?" and i'm like "..yeahh" and he says "ok, you can get highlights." ![]() and he got an ass-whuppin from my mom when we got home. ohh well... ![]() what did i gain??... highlights + a clean room |

My dad is way easier that my mom. Example:
Last night I was supposed to be studing for finals, but I'd been studing most of the day and I was just tired. So I told my dad, and he told me that he knew how I felt and that was fine, I just had to review on the way in to school. My mom came out and yelled at me to take practice quizzes on the maps. Needless to say I didn't study last night ![]() |
