If you look on eminem's site:
http://www.myspace.com/eminem I want the very top part to look like this - i can't choose the color, but I want the bg around the banner and links to be transparent, how do i do this? |

no - align the myspace nav and banner with the div
maybe a little clearer would be maybe you can position the banner and table of the nav up top - to line up with the positioning of the div? is it possible to do that? |
