If you look on eminem's site:
http://www.myspace.com/eminem I want the very top part to look like this - i can't choose the color, but I want the bg around the banner and links to be transparent, how do i do this? |

You can put the banner in a div then move it wherever .
CODE <div class="bg" style="position: absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:000px; height:000px; overflow: hidden;"> <img src="IMAGEURLHERE"> </div> Change all the 0's to positions/#'s for the width and height. Then place your image url where it says image url here. |
