Tote or Backpack?, for school. help! |

well, i'd really like to get a tote type of thing for school but my highschool doesn't have lockers. so should i get a tote for school or a backpack? anyone have pics of really cute totes or backpacks?

I'm gonna use a messenger bag & a tote for this school year. Just gonna switch around everyday, depending on what classes I have. On days I need to carry a lot of text books I'll use my messenger bags & on days I don't have many text books my tote
 .
