Well I'm sorta lost. I'm in a long distance relationship rite? Yeah, so last summer my boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I forgave him for it. Right now, we're trying to work things out, but we barely ever get to talk bcuhz we're both so busy. I'm trying to get over the fact that he cheated and look forward but I can't help but look back. And I hate bringing it up. I don't know if I should just give up and take a little break with him and try going out with other guys to see what's out there or just stick with him like I've been doing. He's the sweetest guy in the world but I just can't help thinking he's gonna hurt me again. I have more problems with him but yeah. This is mainly the one I'm stuck on.

So i ask u "strangers" for advice.

Do I forget about his mistake and give him another chance to prove himself?
OR
Do I make him realise what he had?

Obviously it's hard for you to forget seeing as this happened LAST summer.. as in LAST year? So.. "forgetting about his mistake" hasn't happened yet. I know it's hard to forget, and forgetting something like is probably impossible. In this case, it's more so forgiving than forgetting.

Since this is a long distance relationship, my advice to you wouldn't help much, because I'd suggest that you see him more often. Just so you feel more comfortable around him, to notice how he is around you and stuff so that he catches your mind before you wander.

It's really up to you if you want to give him another chance, just make sure you 100% forgive him before you do, or else it's going to be stuck with you.
