ok so i just moved to california and i started junior year in a new school
the problem is it's junior year and well ppl in that school already has groups and such. how am i suppose to fit in in a group? i know i know be myself and what not. but i'm more of a shy quiet type. i feel really out of place.

I remember when I had to go to a new school, even though that was a long time ago.
I'm really quiet so it was really hard on me and I felt totally out of place. I just took some time to get to know who was in what "clique"... Some people were incrediablly mean to me and others were nice. I would hang out with the people who didn't mind me being there. But for me things eventually changed and once I got to know people I became more comfortable around them and so I lost some of my friends and got some new ones. I guess if I was to give my input it would just be to get to know who's who (if that makes any sense). And don't be afraid to start conversation with someone you don't know. You'll find your place. |
