you guys...i want to dye my hair hot pink, not the whole thing just like a part.

i know that first you have to bleach the part you want to dye, but does anyone know what type of hair dye i can use.

all your suggestions are welcomed! thanx

Bleach before hand? Hm, never thought of that.
If you bleach your hair you should only apply semi-permanant colors.
I'd deffinately leave the bleaching to a professional. Esspecially since you never know what color you might end up with and the harsh chemicals that are used in the proccess. After you bleach your hair you'll have to follow a conditioning and restructuring proccess.. So deff. leave the bleaching to a professional.

As for the dye, there are three types of dye:
A henna (which can only be removed by cutting), a metalic dye (which helps against grays) and chemical dyes, or tints, which are most common and probably the type you will use.

I would suggest talking to a professional, as they will be able to assess your hair and tell you what would work best.

Sorry for such a long reply.
