blink.gif WOW.... That is absolutly amazing

Qrituqe: You may want to work on the edges of the humans and shapes because they look like a magasine clipping on a white background (No offense just trying to help)

But great joB!!! Thats really awesome biggrin.gif happy.gif

Thanks. It is hard with a white background to add any sort of depth to it. I did try to add their shadows in though.

Pardon my French, but holy fcuking shit - that's amazing. blink.gif worthy.gif You should write a tutorial or something for that. XD.gif I'd really like to know how. ohmy.gif

Topic moved. I figured this belonged in Graphics Showcase more.

I may write a tutorial for this! working on a few new ones now, but it takes a while for me to format to put onto the web.

The restoration is great. The colorization part could use a lil more work though. But still that is pretty good too. lol very nice job

thanks (: the colouring could use a bit of a tweaking. i have a dark monitor, but when i printed it out i noticed a few of the tones were a bit off. but i think the vintage tones do suite this image at the same time. maybe it is a little more stylized than realistic?

Did anyone else notice that the restored picture shows more of their arms?
There are still some black and white bits in the hair, but the rest is amazing. Anyway, awesome job. Did you follow a tutorial for this?

when i resized these to post online, i opened a new document (to the size i wanted) and then resized it to fit in the new document. i could've just done an image resize but for the sake of comparison i wasn't worried about maintaining the same sizes.

the hair was challenging for me. it took some tweaking to make the hair go to blonde. the youngest one also is wearing a black headband and some is peaking through the hair.

i didn't use a tutorial for this, been at colouring/refinishing for a couple years now so i have a technique that for me works well. when i started though i had readup on many methods of coloring.
