I would like to create a group community that believes in the following changes for Createblog.

• Forum for the abusers: Have a forum where all posts are anonymous and users can report abusers without bashing. This means no rude words and no avatars/sigs. The reason for this is that when a users reports a person through a PM other CB members are not aware of these surroundings. If they created a froum people would be able to have a look-out for these people. Mods could be specificly added to watch this thread and to keep it under control.
• Layouts for your CB profiles: Don't you think it would be cool if you could edit your very own createblog profile? Although there may be reasoning for this not to happen, maybe more users would join if you could customize the look of your profile. It also would add a new section to the forums =)
• Have an Interest subforum called Traveling: It could be a place where people can talk about ratings, where their going, and stories of vactaions. Traveling would be a great place for people to know one another, and get some helpful advice for vacationingIdea By This Confession
• Ability of deleting posts: If a creator of a thread does not like a reply of another user due to bashing,content, or what not, the user could delete their(as in the other user's) post [with permission of a mod]

• If you don't want to join and think these ideas are stupid just leave! You don't have to post bad things about it...
• Small talk is allowed for members of the group. ONLY if it is on subject. It can not be anything like ASL or anything!
• Make sure you have all the requirements before you join. =P
• If you are a member but you disagree with one or two of our hope to be new rules please speak up and make a suggestion... DONT BE RUDE

I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW...

That I respect all of createblog and its features! I could not be more happier with the way it is run and i respect the mods. I understand it is hard for these mods to keep 100% likeness of everyone, especially when they close topics. I just think democracy is what has made the world a better place so shouldnt this site be better than it already is?

* Majority Rules Over Closing: If a moderator thinks a topic should be closed the group gets to vote on wether or not the topic should be closed. (The group would not be able to vote if there was a breaking of rules or the topic has already been brought up in an earlier post)

Look, no offense but you joined cB when? This month. Give it some time and you might realize that there's a darn good reason why people are modded here. One of those reasons is good judgement. Where have you seen a forum when members vote each and every time a moderator thinks a topic should be closed? If you have a link to one, I'd sure to love to see it.

Sorry, but no. Not a good idea. Perhaps if you stick around long enough, maintain your activity and contribution to the forums you might get hired as staff here and will be able to walk in our shoes for a bit and see how easy it is and how fun it is to close things. Because it's not. I hate closing topics, I hate shutting people down. The anti-censorship persona in me screams just about everytime I do. But alas, it's what I have to do at times in my moderating capacity.

The Lounge, for one would come to a screeching halt if we had to wait for a "Committee" decision everytime a proposal for shutting down a thread is made.

Why exactly should cB members be aware of what's being reported? How is this productive? (I'm sincerely asking, not bashing)

Clubs/Communities and such typically go in The Lounge (or where else they might fit catagorically) but since you seem sincere about this, I will leave it here in Feedback for now.

Also, again I don't mean offense by this, but this type of idea has been thought of before:
The CB Revolution, it has begun. There were some outcomes as a result, so perhaps the SOSU Community might yield some results as well.

Please, please, please don't think I'm coming down on you, or this idea. I admire your spirit, I really do.
