Did you ever know someone who seemed to always want you to open up to them, but never seemed to open up to you in return? You would tell them things, but they rarely wanted to say anything back... They expect you to tell them everything, but they don't expect to tell you anything in return...

It would make me feel like I want to pull myself away from the person. I feel like they don't want me to ge to know them... It would drive me away...

Am I using him? I hope not. I don't think its a completely one way street. Talking isn't the only thing we do. We hang out and do all the things friends do. Just when we do sit down and talk about deeper issues, he's less comfortable talking about his life problems and much more with listening and offering advice. He calls himself our group's Mr. Therapist. I do care about what he thinks and says, both pertaining to my issues as well as his own. I'm not completely clueless about his life. I know his life plans and I've been there when he had his girl issues, just right now, after his last misadventure, he stopped talking about that.

Alright, I see what your saying.. you both have a mutual understanding adn accept things the way they are... What about in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship?
