Did you ever know someone who seemed to always want you to open up to them, but never seemed to open up to you in return? You would tell them things, but they rarely wanted to say anything back... They expect you to tell them everything, but they don't expect to tell you anything in return...
*just pokeing your brains* how did/would it make you feel? Me: It would make me feel like I want to pull myself away from the person. I feel like they don't want me to ge to know them... It would drive me away... |

Yes, I've known people like that. When you first open up to them, it kina makes you think that you're becoming really close friends. But after a while when you get nothing back, you're left feeling kinda used. It's not that you don't like them anymore, they just have a bad after taste. Its like they're using your opening up as a back door to becoming your friend.
But sometimes those kinda relationships work. I have a person who I feel I can any and everything, so he knows all about me. On the flip side, I don't even know if he has a girlfriend. I don't feel used here for some reason. I love talking to him and he listens like noone else does. |

I know what you mean about someone who just listens all the time and you don't care what they think or say... It's like really easy then, because you just like... using them as an outlet, and you know that that is the relationship you share with them. What if you really care about what they think? |
