why do people tend to leave older people behind as if they have never existed

don't get me wrong it's so easy....they kind of disappear once the become home bound

but truthfully thats when they need us the most

have you ever ditched someone old?

Do you regret it?

my family took in my great grandfather...he taught me a lot about his life...and also contributed a lot to me bing more of a servant to other...showing compassion and mercy

I personally enjoy visiting with older people...nut how do you feel

are they worth the time and effort

I like older people, they've been through life a lot longer than you and have more knowledge towards life then most others. I use to sit down and listen to them all the time when I was younger, but once I got older and my parents get in their frenzy I don't get to go anywhere all that much. I still enjoy it though, except with a few people because I've heard all the stories, but I'm nice and sit and listen to them anyway once again.
