why do people tend to leave older people behind as if they have never existed

don't get me wrong it's so easy....they kind of disappear once the become home bound

but truthfully thats when they need us the most

have you ever ditched someone old?

Do you regret it?

my family took in my great grandfather...he taught me a lot about his life...and also contributed a lot to me bing more of a servant to other...showing compassion and mercy

I personally enjoy visiting with older people...nut how do you feel

are they worth the time and effort

Well my mom had cancer and she was to much to deal with she was having a lot of problems she was getting mean and nasty. So we had to put her in a home in Portland (the only place that would take her) but here is the part that I regret to this day and have alot of guilt. She died up there 6 weeks after, she was supposed to go there and get well enough to come home but it did not work that way. I did not get to see my mom before she died and I have to live with that everyday of my life.

My mom was only 60 years old sad.gif
