Metallica sucks Options

I used to like Metallica, now they . . . suck. Few days ago, I was listening to a random song on the internet, I thought it was Blink 182, I was like 'I haven't heard this Blink 182 song before, how weird'. When I saw 'by Metallica', I was shocked. I listened to few of their newer stuff and they SUCK.

I replaced them with Black Sabbath now.

Do they really suck or am I going insane?

...I love metallica, I grew up listening to their songs, while Dave Mustaine was still in Metallica before he was replaced with Kirk Hammett, don't get me wrong though Kirk Hammett is a good guitarist as well but yeah I may aggree that their new stuff is disappointing and their last album was sht, But to me I think they're a great Metal Band that has influenced many other Bands as well. My favorite Albums were the Master of Puppets and Ride The Lighting Majority of the songs are good and worth listening and as well as Cliff Burton's Bass Masterpiece Anesthesia(pulling Teeth) and instrumentals such as Call of Ktulu and Orion.

I agree. Around here, they're incredibly overplayed. But a lot of bands kind of fizzle out. The new SOAD for example, is nothing compared to their old stuff. Same with Zombie.

I guess it's just something that happens. They make a record because they have to not because they necessarily want to.
