wtf., Old Surveys Being Bumped Options

Who the fuck is bumping old surveys? Anyway, Kiera and I brought it up before here and discussed it with Fae (when she was still a mod ): http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...p;#entry1228136

Nothing came of it. So therefore, now that useless surveys are being bumped, I'm bitching. This could probably go in feedback, but I'm really just posting it in the lounge because that's where the surveys are. /gripe;

(And I mean, I do get that the one Jusun posted is to get an idea of the site's demographics, but really. Do people need to post "I took it!" in the thread? Why not just put it up in announcements?)

But Anna, you said no one reads them right, therefore they're useless spam? Well look at writing. Sure it gets a lot of views but I bet it's just people curious at the writing but not actually reading it. And since no one reads anything there, are they considered spam?

The difference there would be that Writing is posted up for cc; essentially it's a showcase. If people read/view the original post, but don't reply, it's because they don't have anything to say/don't want to offer feedback.

The only real supposed purpose for surveys are, as stated before, they let people get to know each other. Again, I'll state that that said purpose is defeated because people scroll through them.

asdf you edited. Anyway, who says I don't think those threads aren't useless also? Kathleen already brought it up in feedback before, though, which is why I didn't say anything about them.
