problem with the love, need some help on this Options

ok, so i have been together with my love for 1 year and 5 months. we are happy right now. i dont think anything to this point, could break us apart.

but this flashback from last summer keeps on coming to my head. my girl and I went out to Missouri to see some friends and family. she went off and done whatever with her friends. i trusted her. but this one boy, i could tell, really wanted my girl.

that one night, he kissed her. i wanted to beat the crap outta the guy. but i couldnt, because there were plenty of cops around there. still to this day, i want to beat the living hell out of him.

my girlfriend still talks to him. he lives all the way in TX, and we are in Michigan. so what could he do, right? but i saw him again a couple weeks ago. he was giving me and my boys dirty looks. i was like.. wth, i let you talk to my girl without hesitation, why are you giving me these looks?

so this solution comes to my mind...

i want to tell my girlfriend to stop talking to this bastard. is it the right thing to do?? i mean, it brings back bad memories when i hear or see him. he's such an ass

i need some feedback, i want to tell her ASAP.

jk don't do that, then your gf will REALLY think you're controlling. You should talk to BOTH of them, the guy and your girl. Tell the guy that you don't know why he suddenly dislikes you, but you feel like he shouldn't, especially considering you let him kiss your girlfriend. Then talk to your girlfriend and tell her pretty much everything you told us.

Just talk to these people. One thing I don't understand about some of you CBers is that you have this thing about talking to people. You have to tell a whole bunch of strangers before you can talk to the peole who are actually involved, when usually just talking to them about the problem is the solution. But if that's the way you want to do it...

so i did tell my girlfriend to stop talking to him. but she dissagreed. she said "how would it help me??" she does have a point. she also was dissapointed. but she was glad i bought up this situation. im a tad bit down, but i dont want to be controlling and tell her to stop. im not that kinda guy.

so i guess i'll just have to deal with it
