I can't seem to figure out why the main section (that is, everything put together...you know, the picture, about me, friends, comments, etc.) is never centered when I try to change my layout. I tried to change it to the "Stars in Space" layout found on this site and everything is left aligned. I copied everything and pasted it in the About Me section as instructed. My profile doesn't have any other code in it, so I don't know why it doesn't work. All I want it to do is look like the preview. Any help would be very much appreciated. :)

I added that bit of code to the very bottom of the "About Me" section, but all it did was shove everything to the right quite a bit. I tweaked the padding-left number but it's still not showing up like it should. I should know how to fix this myself, but CSS was never my strong suit. Here's a link to my page so you can see what I'm talking about as far as the stuff not being centered. btw, I noticed that in Firefox (what I use most of the time) it looks like crap, but it doesn't look that bad in IE. And now the box surrounding the comments section is extended to the right pretty far. ugh! What a headache...I guess this is what I was supposed to learn in my web design classes in college...yeah. Thanks for your help!
Oh, now I see why the comments box is stretched out so far...it's from a HUGE picture that my conceited friend posted of herself...lol. I think I'll delete that... |
