Tell me about it.
I was scheduled for a flight to Hong Kong that very day, and I waited in line for security for at least an hour and a half. Just because people were dumping out all the liquids in their bags. My bottle of water wasn't even spared. I'll just get something straight, though. Water and beverages were served on the plane. Also, baby formula and any liquids you required with a prescription were allowed, also. You just weren't allowed to bring any along WITH you, so even the restaurants and food court weren't allowed to sell you bottles of liquids, only beverages with open tops (i.e., cups). No lotion, either, so I went into the nearest Duty Free beforehand to rehydrate my hands with lotion. I put any existing, more important liquids from my carry-on baggage into my check-in baggage. So my perfume didn't go to waste. =) |
