confused., what do i do? Options

okay,well some of you probably read my post about how that guy said if he wasn't dating that girl he'd date me.

well this girl named Krystyn told me yesterday that she asked him if he had a girlfriend and he said no.

So now I don't know if he is waiting to ask me out or what but yesterday I just sent him a text saying hey what's up? and he never responded,and then today my friend Arielle(same one that called him before that he told that he'd date me..etc.)called him from my phone and then hung-up,threw me my phone and ran.Then he called me back,and I was like hello? and he goes Hey,and I was like Hey,sorry my friend Arielle started randomly calling people out of my phonebook so I'm really sorry and he was like oh ok and then i was like yep and then i got quiet and then he hung up cus I guess he thought I was gana hungup,and I'm bad at telling people bye. So yeah and then like 5 minutes later Arielle called him again cus I was in the shower and asked him if I could call him later,and he was like well i'm at a horse show and won't be back til 2 so tell her that and Arielle was like okay,well she'll call you later then,and he was like okay,then they hungup.

Questions..
Why hasn't he asked me out then??

Do you think he lied about having a girlfriend??

What do I do??

ok explain to me this then.
if he doesn't like me then why when my friend asked him if he didn't have a girlfriend would he think of me that way and him say yeah defffinatley,instead of no because i dont like her that way or no because blah.
explain that.

and no it aint no bullsh!t like he wanted to be nice & not hurt my feelings.
because if he didn't like me he'd let me know,
and in that phone conversation before there was nothing of "i dont like her".
it was just a have a gf but if i didnt i would deff date her.
