haha yeah, I use to that too..whenever I was hurt or something, I tend to realise how much I take life for granted and how much time I waste, not paying attention to the things around me..the earth is a beautiful place. but we're blinded by such things, we can't notice it as the earth slowly dies.

//EDIT i just got inspired to write some poetry about nature

What do you take for granted as our planet slowly dies
the beauty of it's nature as we run the earth dry
if we can take one moment, and just look at the stars
as the moon shines down up above and so far

if we can just step back away from technology
maybe we wouldn't be so blind
pay attention to the waves and the gentleness of its kind

take some time and listen to the birds that sing
the soft melody and the echoes that ring

feel the wind blow and let it ride through your soul
caress and cleanse, and let your body lose control
open up your eyes and realise what we've done
the earth is slowly dying collapsing untill its none

open your heart and feel the pain as it cries
while you live in this place watching everyone die
have we took this land for granted divided among others
tyrannical, unexplainable, one dies after another.
