I agree with Kathleen. If you show that you are responsible enough to be in a relationship then maybe you won't have to hide it from your mom. For example, you could set down rules and conditions for you to be in a relationship like being home by 11:00 or keeping your grades up or something. I'm sure she will be understanding.
