that professional athletes get paid millions for playing a sport that doesn't benefit the world except probably entertain people each season but people who really do help out the community like teachers get a LOT (hecka lot) less D:

I was just arguing with my cousin about this a few weeks ago. He actually believes that professional athletes DESERVE to get paid million to run around chasing a ball.
My mom is a special ed teacher, and she works so hard. She deserves so much more. Actually, a lot of athletes have been to the lowest of the low and have risen above. Same for a lot of actors. I don't mind them getting paid so much. It's very touch to do those types of jobs. A LOT tougher then you think. I just don't like it when they go on strike as if they need more money. ![]() Yes, but so have some teachers and lawyers and doctors...people who actually do something that's beneficial to the world. The world could live without ESPN. It's a waste of money and the salaries given to athletes are completely ridiculous. |
