Who's your favorite director(s)?
I'd have to say my #1 is probably Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket). Actually, definitely. There's a couple close runner-ups. |

^ TOTALLYYY.
I haven't been much into Speilberg for a very long time. In fact, I couldn't even find War of the Worlds tolerable. |

I haven't been much into Speilberg for a very long time. In fact, I couldn't even find War of the Worlds tolerable. Yeah, War of the Worlds felt like Jurassic Park meets Close Enounters of the Third Kind with robots. Did anyone else feel like there were Raptors in the basement?! And, Tom Cruise was... Tom Cruise? Like, his loser dad persona couldn't fool me! I could tell he was his scientology loving self! I could see it! The effects were bastardized. I couldn't feel the horror. The characters were lame. Why isn't that kid dead!? Arrgggh! The only thing I find a tad bit interesting was the camera. The camera truly was a character in that film, very innovative! Aside from that, awful. |
