Almost 2 months, & im still not over him... Options

Okay wells heres my problem...

Its been almost 2 months or so since me & my ex broke up. He broke up with me because of him working & not having time for me & this & that. He texts me ALL the time & he calls me. When he broke up with me he said he likes me but doesnt think we could have a sucessful relationship w/ him & work. So he still likes me...^^ unless the whole work thing was an excuse [but i dont think so] Anyways im tired of this..its like he likes me but doesnt. Its so confusing so tonight im going to ask him if he's over me or w/e so i can move on. Because whats the point of me wasting my time liking him when he doesnt have any kind of feelings for me...right ? When we're on he phone its just liek before,we're both laughing & making fun of eachother. I just dont want that to change so i kinda dont wanna ask him if he's over me,but i NEED to know so i can move on instead of being stuck on him...ya know what i mean ? so should i or what..?

Uh, Im not so sure you should ask him. What good will that do? If he says yes, then you'll just hurt more, and nothing will be gained. If he says yes, and he really still can't go out with you b/c of his job, then you'll also hurt even more knowing that he likes you but you can't have him. Plus, sadly, it WILL make things awkward between you from this point on. Your best bet is to just try to move on and find someone knew, which is also easier said than done, but neccessary.
