 I was just reminded on chat about how my mom and sister would dress me in some ghetto ass stuff and send me to go trick or treatin in rich neighborhoods..  the rich ppl gave me money out of sympathy.my best costume was Will Smith in Wild Wild West... i was straight mackin in that... i looked like a short Shaft. (he's a bad mutha.. shut yo mouth) |

My store sells Halloween costumes closer to October. It's one of our busiest months.
Growing up, my dad always convinced us to let him make our costumes. They were certainly creative, but I was always jealous of the other kids at school who bought their own costumes. And when I was trick-or-treating, if I saw anyone I knew I was just silently praying that they wouldn't recognize me. Perhaps the worst costume he ever made for me was when I wanted to be the pink Power Ranger.  I am really proud of the black cat costume he made for me when I was in 3rd grade, though.
