well i went to the gyno because i'd be on my period for like 3 weeks (i know it's crazy). by the time i went i thought it was pretty much over. we talked and she told me that this was pretty common to have real irregular periods like this (i've had it for about 2 years). so we decided that birth control would be good. later i decided i would wait to start it because she said that you would probably spot a bit until your body got used to it, and after having my period for 3 weeks i just wanted it to stop all together. so i decided i would start taking it when school started. and then my period came back like the next day. and now it's been almost a month since it started. i mean this can't possibly be "common." a month? and i can't start taking the birth control until it's all over right? i read through all the irregular period topics and all, but i need help. should i go back to the gyno or call her or something? because i'm getting so mad that everyone says "i'm sure there's nothing wrong" when there obviously is. what do you guys think?

birth control just regulates your hormones so you have short, light, regular periods. and yeah i think i'm going to call her and see if i need to come back in. btw way i LOVE your av/sig.
