Hide Blog Code, Heeellllppp ! Options

I really want to hide my blogs because i've used this code to move the "about me"" section up : <style>.note {bring the tables up more}

but now that i've tried to hide my blogs and extended network : <style type="text/css">
table td table tr td.text table {visibility:hidden;}
table td table tr td.text table table, table td table tr td.text table table td.text {visibility:visible;}

that code makes the whole right side of my profile hidden. I really want to add the extra space above my nav bar so i can put something up but its not possible if my blogs and extended network still show up. HELP SOMEONE PLEASE !
