Ok guys. One of my best friends named Mondo doesn't like me anymore because I've gotten to know this kid named Aaron. I hate this. Just because I try to be friends with everyone, I lose one of my close friends. It's like that with adults too. They think because you're associated with one group that you're just as bad. It really is unfair and immature. Grr. That happened to me a while back. This has really been getting me down cause Aaron's cool but Mondo doesn't like him for some reason. I guess people aren't allowed to actually be nice to everyone anymore. And for the record, I hardly ever talk to Aaron but Mondo doesn't believe me. Any suggestions? Have you ever been in this situation? I'd love to hear some stories. I think I'm gonna call Mondo and talk to him more about it.
Oh, and this might belong in Relationships. I wasn't sure. Move it if you must.  I'd rather it be in here so I can get some help but it's cool.Edit// Geez, views but no replies? Come on, I need help! haha. I'm so confused.

Have a good long talk with Mondo - convince him/make sure you let him know that you treasure the friendship between you and him, that you would never do anything bad to him. Tell him that you're/he's still his/your friend, etc. It's not really his position to choose who you're friends with, but I can understand how he can be unhappy about it.
Listen to his reasoning though, ask him to atleast stop being moody to you about it. I dont' think he should be mad at you, but only at Aaron if he has a bad history only with him. |
