How would I fill a custom shape with a gradient?

I'm still new to photoshop 7.
I figured it out, I had it on "paths" instead of "shape layers". LOL It's funny cuz when I want something to work, it doesn't but when I'm just clicking and doing trial and error I figure it out. Thanks so much for answering my questions Kristinaa. One last problem that I can't seem to figure out at all! How do I select outside of the "shape layer" to make a different gradient?  I want to fill all of the transparent outside of it with another gradient. Thanks for the gradient sites, some were nice. Do you know of anymore sites? |
