I currently started excercising 3 days ago and I just started working out since this summer i really want to lose the weight off of my stomach* and body. Weds-I swam for two hours, Thurs/today(fri) ran/walk for 20-30 mins. see i havent ran for 4years and now that im out of high school, im trying it again. i used to be a great runner but now its hard for me to even run 20-30mins. but i am trying to get used to it, my legs, thighs, hips are sore and hurt. but i feel good that i actually excercise than jst sit at home. but i dont like running at the same time, thats why its hard for me to just do it. but i do push myself, but im thinking that i kind of want to take up bicycling instead of running to lose the stomach pounds and body weight...im jst wondering if it would help me lose it all? I'm going for 10lbs the least, 20 the most...(im thinking if i start bicycling then that would help me run too..jst dont know if its the same thing...) I know i might sound week for the running 20-30mins for just two days but im thinking bicycling might help me run after im done w/ bicycling...

Go to your local gym and see if they have any spinning classes. Spinning is riding on a stationary bike except the bike is a smoother ride. The instructors tell you how fast you pedal, there's different positions to work different parts of the body, and there's usually cool music to go along with it.
My mom has been teaching spinning for about two years now, and she's in GREAT shape. I've been to a couple of classes and it REALLY gives you a work out! Try it! |
