i tried searching first..
when i meet a new guy its really hard for me to talk to them the same way i talk to a girl, even if im not attracted to them, at all. I have nothing to say and I cant be myself. Im shy in general, but with guys its worse. I want to be one of those girls with alot of guy friends, but i cant make it happen. im going to a new school next year, so i have a chance to make new friends. how you do act when you meet new people, guys especially. and any advice for me? |

being "myself" means being all dorky, becuase i joke around and talk too much
and i feel liek guys [or anyone new] will think im weird. i think my problem is self confidence, which isnt all that easy to fix.. |

Psh. Nonsense. Look at me, I'm definitely what a lot of people would call dorky (-slaps on glasses and braces- "If you're sine squared, then I'm cosine squared! Together, we make ONE!"). And I'm definitely weird. Actually, I'd rather call it quirky, but whatever. The point is, it doesn't matter who you are. Your friends should be the ones who appreciate you for who you are, not who you pretend to be. If they love you for who you aren't, what's going to happen when you actually be yourself? |
