Why are girls taller than boys? Am I done growing?

The thing is the height gaps are kind of big. I know one guy who is about 13/14 and he's like 4'3 and I know another girl who's about his age that's 6'1. Maybe it's because of later growth spurts for boys causing them to be so short. Short, not being a bad thing. Most girls like tall guys. About 329 girls voted in a poll about which kind of boys they like better, tall or short. Only 40 girls voted short, the rest went for tall. -Results were taken from "Short or Tall?" Most guys, well according to the this topic likes girls thier height or shorter and others don't really care. -Results (comments results) were taken from "ur dream gurls height, im a gurl i need to know![guyz only]" Do any of you feel being your height is bad when it comes to dating and the girl is taller (assuming most of you are straight)? Or do you want the girl to be the tall one? How does your height or height gaps affect your dating life? Aim or Objective: To observe the views of boys on height and how it can affect the dating aspect of thier lives. (aka I am bored.) |

I must admit, I find something strangely intriguing about this subject. If a guy were to say that he only dates girls who weigh less than 110 pounds, or have a bust of at least 36C, he'd be seen as unfairly superficial; yet in our culture, it's perfectly acceptable for women to place height restrictions on dates. What does that really say?
